Palestine Activism Collective

Our Mission

The Palestinian Activism Collective (PAC) is a diverse and intergenerational body of community organizers and activists located across the western Chicago suburbs. We are committed to taking direct action to primarily stop the genocide in Gaza, end all military funding to Israel, and struggle toward total liberation and self-determination for the Palestinian people, as well as for our local communities. We are dedicated to a variety of strategies including organizing our own actions, as well as elevating and supporting the actions of other local groups.

Our Vision

Stop the genocide in Gaza

End all U.S. military funding to Israel

Total liberation, return, and self-determination for the Palestinian people as well as for our local communities

Support and uplift the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement and anti-normalization

Centering Palestinian Voices

We’re committed to challenging and rectifying the prevalent suppression of Palestinian voices within our local communities. Our commitment lies in centering their narratives and lived experiences in the ongoing struggle for Palestine’s liberation and justice and the inclusion of Palestinians in the diaspora in Illinois. Illinois has the largest Palestinian community in the country, with 70,000 to 100,000 people living in the Chicagoland area. Our platform amplifies their stories, ensuring they are heard and met with meaningful responses from Illinois representatives and community leaders. Further, we strive to create safe spaces, virtually and in-person, for Palestinians to be heard and perceived and for allies to support them and advocate for their liberation and inclusion in public discourse and decision-making.
